Refund policy


At Yara Auto Parts, we supply vehicle-specific aftermarket automotive accessories. Due to the nature of these products, many items may become unsuitable for resale once opened, test-fitted, installed, or handled incorrectly. For this reason, all return and exchange requests are subject to approval by our team before being sent back.

Return Requests

You may request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order, unless your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provide otherwise.

To start a return request, please contact us at lxmautopart@gmail.com with your order number, reason for return, and clear photos where relevant.

Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted or processed.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused, uninstalled, and not test-fitted

  • In original, resellable condition

  • In its original packaging

  • Returned with all parts, fittings, accessories, tapes, films, and hardware included

  • Free from scratches, marks, dirt, damage, bending, modification, or signs of attempted installation

We reserve the right to reject a return or reduce the refund amount if the item is not returned in original resellable condition.

Change of Mind

If you ordered the wrong item or changed your mind, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the item has not been used, installed, or test-fitted.

For approved change-of-mind returns:

  • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

  • A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply

  • We may also deduct from the refund based on the condition of the returned item

Items that have been opened, test-fitted, partly installed, or returned with missing packaging or accessories may be refused or only approved for a partial refund.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the item and issue

  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label, where relevant

After assessment, if the issue is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing defect, transit damage, or an error on our part, we may offer, at our discretion:

  • A replacement

  • An exchange

  • Store credit

  • A partial refund

  • A full refund

Installation and Fitment

As our products are aftermarket automotive accessories, some items may require minor adjustment during installation. Professional installation is recommended where applicable.

The following do not automatically mean the item is faulty:

  • An installer says the item is difficult to fit

  • Minor alignment adjustment is required

  • The buyer ordered the wrong model, year, series, or variant

  • The buyer or installer attempted forced fitting

  • The installer is unwilling or unable to complete the installation

Any damage caused during attempted installation, incorrect installation, forced fitting, modification, or third-party workmanship is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Non-Returnable Situations

We do not accept returns or exchanges where:

  • The item has been installed, partly installed, or test-fitted

  • Adhesive backing, protective film, or seals have been removed

  • The item has been damaged by handling, installation, or modification

  • The return is requested outside the approved return period

  • The item is returned without prior authorisation

  • The product was ordered incorrectly by the buyer and has already been opened or tried on the vehicle

Labour and Installation Costs

We do not reimburse any labour charges, installation costs, workshop fees, removal costs, or third-party expenses unless required under the ACL.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the return has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow standard processing time for your bank or payment provider.
